Cheaper Concert Tickets In 2011?

It has been expected that concert tickets rate may get cheaper next year.To get fans back out in show for 2011 concerts,concerts promoters are considering to lower down the prices.

In 2010 concerts promoters have figured out the bad number of attendances in show and they have said that they will going to change their strategy by charging less for tickets and making the effort to sell more t-shirts and other merchandise to compensate.

Ticketmaster reselling aims to New Ontario law

Ontario's new to the U.S. entertainment Ticketmaster and others from selling and reselling tickets to the same event. If the Opposition is right, it says it will do nothing to end scalping or keep prices down it always be remains to appear.

Progressive Conservative Ted Chudleigh says, "The new rules will not reduce the price of tickets".

Attorney General Chris Bentley says, "The Ticket Speculation Act will ensure people have fair access to concerts, theatrical or sport events".

Ticketmaster says, "It does not divert tickets between Ticketmaster Canada and the TicketsNow site, which it owns, or provide preferential access to primary market tickets to TicketsNow".

Ticketmaster has described the TicketsNow resale for somebody.

Ontario Ticketmaster law to prevent resale


A law has been passed by Ontario and aimed at stopping U.S. entertainment giant Ticketmaster from selling and reselling the same tickets to the same concert or sporting event.

Ticket Speculation Act has been passed by the Liberal Government,supported by the NDP, which Attorney General Chris Bentley said will ensure people have fair access to events.

People showed there disappointment that each time they are redirected to different website very tickets rate are quite higher said Bentley.

People complained they were getting ripped off because tickets would appear at inflated prices on TicketsNow, a resale site owned by Ticketmaster, minutes after going on sale on the primary site.
